Resistance welding sits alongside the CNC plant, with a full range of conventional machines including milling, radial drilling and lathes for the work that does not justify a programme.
Beyond machining
One part number, one order
Buying a machined part is rarely the whole problem. The casting arrives late, the plater has a queue, and the assembly waits on whichever of the five vendors is slowest.
Castings, forgings, bar stock, sheet metal components, plastic mouldings, sensors and transducers come in through a qualified vendor base of over 700 suppliers. Parts are machined, joined, assembled, tested and packed here, then delivered against one part number on one purchase order. Assemblies of around 36 components have been built and shipped direct on line.
