Anicon Flowcontrols was set up in 2020 as the machining and sub-assembly arm of Versatile Equipments Pvt Ltd, drawing on a group history in manufacturing that runs back to 1967.
The firm
Run by the people who answer the phone
Anicon is led by Sonali Janwadkar-Patel and Pushkraj Janwadkar and works from D-54 MIDC Gokul Shirgaon in Kolhapur. The aim is not complicated: supply high precision components and assemblies to OEMs and Tier 1 manufacturers, and be straightforward to deal with while doing it.
What the Versatile relationship gives you
Versatile Equipments builds foundry and sand testing equipment and holds IATF 16949 alongside ISO 9001:2015. Two things follow from that. Parts needing IATF have a certification route, and the group has spent decades building and then supporting its own machines in the field, which is a different discipline from cutting metal to somebody else’s print and never hearing how it went.

- Plants and trees are worked into the site and the working year. Every employee is given a plant at the annual recognition ceremony.
- Educate to Motivate
- The education of employees’ children is funded through the programme, with a target of supporting 40 students.
